Springs Folk Festival
WHEN: Annually, the first Friday and Saturday in October.
Friday and Saturday - October 4 & 5, 2013 - 9AM to 5PM both days.
WHERE: Springs Historical Society Museum,
1711 Springs Road, Springs PA 15562. Springs is located on Route 669 (Springs Road) between Salisbury PA (US 219N)
and Grantsville MD (US 40, I-68 Exit 19) in southern Somerset County PA.
DESCRIPTION: Annual Springs Folk Festival is a celebration of the arts, skills and labors of our
forefathers. Watch women baking bread and weaving, men hewing logs and threshing grain, and children enjoying
hayrides. Enjoy a nice variety of music while experiencing a one-of-a-kind shopping adventure - over 140 juried
artisans demonstrating their craft and offering paintings, baskets, wood crafted furniture, quilts and more.
The festival also offers great food and a pageant performed by local talent.
